What an awesome week Zack and I had in Arizona. We got in early Monday and grabbed the rental car and headed to the Grand Canyon, battled a very odd snow storm, but we made it…checked it out…and headed back to prepare for Catcus.
We pitted with Charlie in the Team Novak tent, and had a complete blast joking around all week. Zack was serious about racing, yet relaxed enough to joke around. We spend days dialing in the cars and choosing tire combos. Zack qualified well in both 13.5 4wd and 2wd. He led the 2wd main for around 6 minutes, when unfortunatly 2 lappers that crashed took him out, and he finished 2nd. In 4wd he took the early lead and just checked out. He now has a Catcus Classic Championship under his belt!!!
